🎬 BOILER ROOM
A dark, fast-paced look at the high-pressure world of shady stock brokerage firms.

📉 The Big Idea: Ambition can be dangerous when mixed with greed. A young college dropout gets lured into a brokerage firm promising fast money, only to realize it's a glorified scam that preys on unsuspecting investors.

📊 Why It Matters: If someone is aggressively selling you an investment with "guaranteed" high returns, run. Understanding how scams work can help you avoid financial ruin and spot red flags in real-life opportunities.

🔍 Action Step: Before investing, always do your due diligence. Research companies, verify their legitimacy, and remember: real wealth is built over time, not overnight.

From Headache to Yoghurt: A Tiny Taste of Financial Freedom

It was after work, I was exhausted—head pounding, body drained.

Ever had such a day?

So, I decided to treat myself to some yoghurt. Small joys, right?

Checked my forex copy trading account out of habit and boom! $5.91 profit.

Exactly the price of my yoghurt. My capital for that account was $100.

How nice!

I messaged my friend about the yoghurt helping my headache, and the convo shifted to forex copy trading.

She said, "I'm interested but not prepared to lose."

I wrote her a reply and when I reread it, I was shocked—if this was me a few years ago, I wouldn’t even be having this conversation.

Money talk? Boring. Not because I was rich, but because I thought just having enough was, well, enough.

Then COVID hit (rings a bell?), and something shifted. I wanted more.

Not just for the sake of having more, but for a better life.

A home with a view—sky, clouds, river, garden—so my loved ones could enjoy the little luxuries of peace and time together.

Back then, I lived on the second floor, and let’s just say the street cats and dogs made sure I never overslept.

Nothing against animals—I have a dog!—but uninterrupted sleep is also a luxury.

Looking back, my wealth mindset didn’t happen overnight.

It was built step by step—small choices, small wins, little profits that add up over time.

And along the way, those small gains started bringing me tangible joys.

Like today—tired but grateful, with a yoghurt in hand, paid for by passive income.

Your turn—what’s a small financial win that made your day?

TAKE THIS WITH YOU

I used to think financial success was about having the perfect budget—color-coded spreadsheets, expense-tracking apps, and the iron will to resist online sales.

Turns out, my budget wasn’t the problem… my lack of income streams was.

No matter how much I cut back, I wasn’t getting ahead.

So, I flipped the script and started focusing on making more, not just saving more.

Wealth Potpourri exists to help you do the same—without having to go through my “let’s cancel Netflix and survive on instant noodles” phase.
